Situada no bairro mais bohémio de Paris - Montmartre, a Boulevard de Clichy é famosa pela sua agitada vida nocturna e o local onde podemos ver o célebre Moulin Rouge. Saímos na estação de metro de Pigalle mas a mais próxima do famoso cabaret é a Blanche.

Situated in the most bohemian district of Paris - Montmartre, the Boulevard of Clichy is famous for its bustling nightlife and where we can see the famous Moulin Rouge. We got out on the Pigalle metro station but the nearest famous cabaret is Blanche.

do: RIO SAÔNE - LYON, FRANÇA



Lyon é de certa forma uma cidade priveligiada, por ela passam dois rios, o Saône e o Ródano. Foram as margens do primeiro que percorremos no nosso passeio da cidade já que é também o que está mais próximo da zona mais antiga da cidade e de Fourviére.
Nasce nas montanhas de Vosges e desagua no Ródano justamente em Lyon.

 

Lyon is a city somehow privileged has it is surrounded by two rivers, the Rhône and the Saône. It was next to the first that we went to stroll in the city as it is also the one that is closest to the oldest part of the city and Fourviére.
It is born in the Vosges Mountains and flows into the Rhone right in Lyon.

do: PRAIA DA RIBEIRA - CASCAIS, PORTUGAL

Também conhecida como a Praia do Peixe ou dos Pescadores, é ainda hoje utilizada pelos pescadores cujo porto fica mesmo ao lado e também a lota.

Não é das melhores praias para estar no Verão em Cascais, a verdade é que em algumas épocas o seu cheiro a peixe é bastante intenso pela proximidade que tem ao porto. Por outro lado é pequena e enche com facilidade.

Also known as the Praia do Peixe (fish) or Pescadores (fisherman), is still used by fishermen whose port is right next door and also the auction.
It's not the best beach in the summer in Cascais, the truth is that at some times it's fish smell is quite intense because it is so close to the port. On the other hand it's small and fills easily.

do: PRAÇA 5 DE OUTUBRO - CASCAIS, PORTUGAL

Esta praça é dos pontos mais centrais da vila de Cascais e também um dos que o passar do tempo apenas ajudou á renovação das suas fachadas e pouco mais, tudo o resto está igual.

Nela continua a funcionar a Câmara Municipal de Cascais, instalada no antigo palácio dos Condes da Guarda. Na sua fachada podemos ver vários painéis em azulejo, eles representam santos entre eles: S. João, S. António, S. Marcos, S. Lucas, etc..

GROSSE CLOCHE - BORDÉUS, FRANÇA

Seguíamos o nosso caminho pela Cours Victor Hugo quando ao olhar para a Rua de Saint-James vimos esta porta, uma das duas que ainda existem na cidade, a outra é a Porta Cailhau.

Esta torre relógio pertencia ao edificio que seria a câmara municipal da cidade na época medieval. A sua construção original data do século XV mas o relógio que vemos por baixo do sino é do século XVIII. 

CAFÉ VIA LUNA - BORDÉUS, FRANÇA

Chegámos a Bordéus já muito perto da hora do almoço, fome não nos faltava e estacionámos o carro na Place Chapeu Rouge. Ali perto estava o Café Via Luna e nem procurámos nada mais, nem olhámos para as recomendações dos guias.

Uma das coisas que nos chamou a atenção foi a sua esplanada com vista para o rio Garona, sentámo-nos e vimos que tinham um menú do dia que custava menos de 10€ e outros pratos a 6€.

 

We arrived in Bordeaux already very close to lunchtime, we were starving and parked the car in place Chapeu Rouge. Nearby was the Café Via Luna and we didn't look no further nor we looked at the recommendations of the guides.
One of the things that caught our attention was its terrace overlooking the Garonne river, we sat down and saw that they had a menu of the day which cost less than 10 € and other dishes at 6 €.

do: ÓPERA DE PARIS (Ext), FRANÇA

Continuando o nosso passeio de bicicleta por Paris fomos parar á Praça da Ópera onde vimos uma grande agitação á volta do Palácio Garnier. Nele está a Academia Nacional de Música e a Ópera de Paris. Junto ás escadas do elegante edificio, um grupo de músicos tocava como se a Academia tivesse saído á rua e tinham bastante público. Ficámos algum tempo a ouvi-los tocar enquanto contemplávamos a fantástica fachada do palácio. 

Continuing our bike ride through Paris we stopped at the Opera Square where we saw a great agitation around the Palais Garnier. In it there's the National Academy of Music and the Paris Opera. Standing by the stairs of the elegant building, a group of musicians played as if the Academy had come out to the street and had they gathered quite a crowd. We stayed some time to listen to them play while we contemplated the awesome facade of the palace.
