Tem quase 2Km de areal e é uma das praias de Valência mais concorridas no Verão, principalmente agora com uma ligação AVE (alta-velocidade) de Madrid a Valência em menos de 2 horas de viagem (de carro são umas três horas e meia).
A sua proximidade ao centro da cidade são outro dos factores que a fazem encher. A areia é clarinha e fina, já a água não podemos dizer nem quanto a temperatura nem quanto a limpeza porque tendo ido no Inverno não nos atrevemos sequer aproximar.

Nós visitámo-la e o seu enorme paredão quando fomos almoçar á Casa Isabel. As esplanadas que nele podemos encontrar são uma das principais atracções da praia e muitas apresentam como especialidade a paella valenciana, se bem que dizem que não são os lugares mais recomendáveis e tornam-se num engodo turístico.
