I took with me a short list of recommended restaurants in Siena and San Giuseppe was the first. I was a Little hard to find it but we did weren't in a hurry, we got to discover the streets of the historic center of Siena when we reached the door of this osteria, we wanted to understand why this was the most recommended restaurant City on TripAdvisor.

When we arrived there were few people inside and we got a table, ten minutes later it was full. To start they bring you a small cup with a creamy vegetables soup. We ordered an "anti-pasti" with a variety of cheeses and sausages in the region.
I knew beforehand that they had good meat and ordered a dish for me, we also order a typical Tuscany stew (which I am sorry I can not recall the name).
We enjoyed everything and still ordered desserts which were a pleasant surprise because the descriptions didn't quite anticipated what we were served. The space is cozy and has an enoteca that they say is place in an ancient Etruscan house and where you can taste the wines and cheeses of the región.
The pastas are fresh and prepared in the restaurant, the food has that homemade touch as if instead of a "chef" dressed up was a grandmother who still keeps with him the secrets of fine cuisine of Tuscany.
Prices are around 35 € -45 € per person, that is not cheap but we ate very well and is a few meters from Piazza del Campo.
