When I thought of the name, the location and its exterior I thought of a typical portuguese tavern but this is called Modern and you understand why when you set foot in it starting with decor that is more current going through the menu that combines the Portuguese, Spanish and Asian cuisines.
Outside there is a small terrace but because it was very hot we decided to have lunch inside.

The concept could not be more in line with the Spanish cuisine dishes to share and with the Portuguese delicacies that make a comeback with the crisis being the main culprit of making haute cuisine more accessible.
The menu is not very extensive and the truth if it is for two you end up losing the opportunity to sample more dishes. We ordered the Beef Carpaccio with Arugula and Manchego cheese as an entrance, then I ate the Rice with Sausage ("farinheira") and Portobello and my husband ordered a Sausage made with a mix of White meats like turkey and chicken. The dishes we ordered were around € 12 in fair portions, we did not leave hungry but could be more generous for the price you paid. On the other hand everything we ate was good and well prepared which helps to justify the price per person that is around 20-25 €. I would repeat because there were some dishes I would have liked to taste (like salad Cod for example) and we saw arrive to the tables beside us.
The service was correct and is a good restaurant to take children at least for lunchtime. Also it's a gin bar with a wide variety of choice of this fashionable drink both in Spain and in Portugal.
