After lunch and as we walked towards Charles Bridge we found the Galerie Experience shop of the Czech beer brand, Pilsner Urquell. We decided to go in after seeing the storefront the decorated beer mugs that resembled German ones.
Until now in almost all the places where we drank beer it was always this brand that is in active since 1842.

We went into the shop and small museum without paying anything, we saw a bit of their history and how the beer of Joseph Groll became a worldwide hit for being lighter and clearer than the ones that existed in the market in the late nineteenth century.
Buying in the store give you a coupon to do a beer tasting, we ended up not spending it because we had just finished lunch and we all drank a pint of Pilsner each.
One of the relics you can see there in exhibition is the crystal to Franz Joseph I, Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary, used to taste the Pilsner beer on a visit in 1874. In the shop you can buy a replica of this cup among other merchandising ítems from the brand.
