Entrámos na Josef Holzermayr em busca dos famosos Mozartkugel uns bombons feitos com nougat, maçapão de pistachio cobertos com chocolate negro. Foi Paul Fürst que os criou mas não foi o único a produzi-los por isso tanto na Fürst como na Holzermayer é possível encontrar os verdadeiros e feitos á mão.
Apesar da marca de chocolates existir desde 1865 a loja que fomos foi inaugurada em 1913 e está na praça de Alter Markt. O seu interior mantém a sua tradição e continua a dar vontade de comprar mais do que deveríamos.
We have entered the Josef Holzermayr looking for the famous Mozartkugel some chocolate made with nougat, pistachio marzipan covered with dark chocolate. It was Paul Fürst who created them but was not the only one to produce them like in the Fürst Holzermayer it is also possible to find the real ones and hand made.

Dizem que os chocolates de Holzermayr eram tão bons que o Arquiduque Franz Ferdinand o nomeou fornecedor oficial. Não tendo sido o criador original dos famosos Mozartkugel não significa que os que aqui se vendam não sejam bons, eu provei e são óptimos. Tive pena de não ter trazido mais uma caixa.
Não vivem apenas destes famosos chocolates, há de tudo um pouco e há até uma zona de doces especialmente dedicada a crianças. Vendem tabletes de chocolate de marcas que nem sabia que existiam como por exemplo a Zotter.
They say the Holzermayr chocolates were so good that the Archduke Franz Ferdinand named them the official supplier of the royal house. Not being the original creator of the famous Mozartkugel didn't mean that what they sell here is not good, I tasted the chocolates and they were great. I regret not having brought another box.
