Later I saw that I took about four hundred photos such was my enthusiasm in registering its extensive collection, in this post you can see my favorites and that represent the various eras in display. There was another curiosity on our visit to the museum and it was that we did not pay to get in because on Saturdays afternoon and Sunday mornings is free.
The visit starts at level 0 where besides a introduction to archeology it is also dedicated to the Prehistory, the following area is Protohistória and the Age of Metals. Also here is the Roman Hispania and El Andalus area.
In the intermediate floor is an exhibition about the money and currency, from ancient to modern times, is a great way to explain to the little ones what it is. On the top floor there was an area with the history of the museum beyond its founder, followed by the exhibition of Egypt where we see the sarcophagi and mummies, the time of the Greeks and the Medieval World.
Before you enter the museum you can visit a replica of the Cuevas de Altamira which entrance is on the left, the original is in the Cantabria and a mirror helps you see the cave painting that is in the ceiling.
It is an excellent plan for children.
