I lived in Lisbon the golden age of the Santo Amaro docks now far from the city I do not know if it continues but the truth is that almost all the Spaniards who traveled with me on this trip wanted to go there. I did not even remembered of some of its restaurants, a favorite of the group was the Doca Peixe (Fish dock) with its showcase of fresh fish and seafood inviting beyond its terrace overlooking the Tagus and Bridge.

I would say the Doca Peixe is a safe bet for any tourist who comes in looking for dishes with fresh fish or seafood, here you will always eat well paying a little more than usual without being a trap. I went with a large group of the company so the fish we ate was not grilled which was a shame (the dishes were agreed) but the one they served was great. To start they brought Clams cooked bulhão pato style in small individual plates, they were tasty and I felt like repeating. The dessert was a delicious chocolate cake, nice sponge and mousse in the middle. Good food in relaxed atmosphere made me go back to the good times at the Docks.
