Valência é a cidade da Paella mas dizem os próprios valencianos que a melhor é a que se come em casa. Ainda assim são vários os restaurantes que procuram oferecer a sua versão e o El Rall é um de esses lugares em pleno centro histórico. As recomendações que tinha apontavam para a zona do El Palmar mas ao caminhar pelas ruas de Valência decidimos experimentar este aproveitando a sua esplanada.

Começámos com uns pasteis de bacalhau que não surpreenderam e não batem os "made in" Portugal. Seguiram-se duas paellas que chegaram para alimentar quatro adultos e três crianças, uma foi a valenciana e outra de marisco. Á primeira faltaram os caracóis que é um ingrediente típico, acredito que por ser um restaurante mais do agrado dos turistas eles evitem colocá-los, ainda assim foi a paella que mais gostei. Não sou nenhuma especialista mas dizem que não importa a quantidade de ingredientes mas sim o sabor, no caso das paellas do El Rall havia as duas coisas e saímos satisfeitos. Talvez a única crítica seja o preço porque podes encontrar de boa qualidade e mais barato, são 16€ por pessoa e por paella mas a quantidade não desiludia.

The first missed snails which is typical ingredient, I believe to be a more pleasing restaurant tourists so they avoid putting them, still it was the paella I liked the most. I'm no expert but some say that it does no matter the amount of ingredients but the taste in the case of El Rall paellas it had both and we left satisfied. Perhaps the only criticism is the price because you can find good quality and cheaper, these are 16 € per person per paella but the amount does not disappoint.
