Mais um Domingo de Rastro e desta vez decidimos comer em Lavapiés, para escapar ao tradicional cheiro a caril o Moharaj decidimos experimentar Los Porfiados. Junto ao seu logo está um slogan: "Comida hecha a mano" e é verdade, sais de este lugar com a confirmação que ás vezes as receitas mais simples são as melhores, as que mais te marcam e as que te fazem ter vontade de voltar. Gostei também da decoração, tinha bastante luz, pratos antigos como os que ando á caça no Rastro, mesas de madeira rústica e cadeiras nacionalidades diferentes.

Also liked the decor, had enough light, vintage plates like those I go hunting for in Rastro, rustic wooden tables and chairs of different nationalities.

Para além de boa comida, Los Porfiados têm uma boa história, quatro sócio argentinos com uma paixão pela cozinha e por fazer muito com pouco. Fomos com os nossos filhos e pedimos uma sopa deliciosa para começar, é sempre complicado encontrar restaurantes que a tenham. Depois pedimos as Empanadillas (uma da carne e outra de queijo), uma excelente maneira para começar.
Os pratos principais foram o Hamburguer Sheriff e um Fish and Chips para os miúdos, tudo óptimo e a destacar a qualidade dos ingredientes, o peixe derretia-se na boca e a carne do hamburguer era bastante suculenta. Para terminar uma sobremesa bombástica: milfolhas de leite condensado. Boa comida, cozinhada com carinho e honestidade, o serviço impecável e simpático, voltaremos sem dúvida.

The main dishes were the Sheriff Burger and Fish and Chips for the kids, all great and highlight the quality of ingredients, the fish melted in the mouth and burger meat was very juicy. To end a bombastic dessert: condensed milk "milfolhas". Good food, cooked with love and honesty, impeccable and friendly service, we will return without a doubt.
