Também se recomenda visitá-la durante a noite principalmente na época mais quente do ano onde as esplanadas se enchem de gente e a praça em si de pessoas a passear, crianças a brincar, bicicletas, skates, etc..
Two visits to Zaragoza and I can't get tired of this square. One was in the Winter, it was cold and the sky was grey, the other one was in the Summer it was hot and sunny.
It's also recommended to visit it during the evening specially in the hottest days were the café terraces are filled with people and the square itself with people taking a stroll, kids playing, bikes, skates, etc..
Há tanta coisa nela para ver e tantos detalhes que aprecio que um post não chegaria para os enúmerar mas aqui vão alguns: a Fonte da Hispanidade, a fachada da Catedral-Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Pilar (Claro!!!), o próprio edificio do Ayuntamiento (Câmara Municipal) da cidade, o monumento a Goya com as estátuas da Dama e do Senhor onde tirámos umas fotografias engraçadas, dos banquinhos da praça que são um dois em um: banco e jardim, etc...
A Praça do Pilar é a prova de que se pode se pode ser grande e ao mesmo tempo acolhedora.
Gostei ainda mais de a conhecer de noite com o seu jogo de luzes nas fachadas dos seus edificios mais relevantes.
There is so much there to see and so many details that I appreciate that a post isn't enough but here are a few: the Fountain of Hispanidade, the façade of the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar (of course!), The very building the Ayuntamiento (town hall) of the city, the monument to Goya with the statues of the Lady and the Lord where we took some photos funny, the square of the stools that are a two in one: bench and garden, etc...
Square Pillar is the proof that can be great while warm.
I liked to know more of the night with its play of light on the facades of their buildings more relevant.
