On Mother's Day the family (all except the cat) took me to lunch at Rigatoni. We already knew a restaurant from this Italian group, the Pulcinella at the center of Madrid and we liked because it seemed to be the most authentic that it can be especially when you the waiters are Italians.
This one is closer to home and we decided to try, if it is equal to its "brother" of Madrid we lose less time to go to a good Italian. Problem? Sunday and Mother's Day it was full but still managed to table in this side terrace.

We thought it was a good idea but it was difficult because we they sat everyone else on the terrace area. Yet things started well, we decided to order a pizza Foccacia simple as a starter and was fine, with a crispy crust. It was a nice alternative to the "anti-pasti" they had on the list.
Then we had to wait (and despair) for the rest of the food. Ordered a gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and a tuna pizza, we had to get up from the table and into the restaurant to ask for our order. It was not the best we could have in a first visit, the pizza didn't stay enough time in the oven and the gnocchi was fresh (the best I've had) but the sauce has no taste. A pity because you know it is a good restaurant and they were having a bad day.
It should be said in its favor that they apologized and offered the second drinks. In the end we paid 45€ (for 2 + 1 child) but why not ask the desserts arrived (without wine), it was not a very cheap experience.
