I would love to have this park at my doorstep. It's nearly 50 acres of lawns, lakes, abundant trees, playgrounds, art and other activities to enjoy the nice weather. I was pretty sad about the possibility of not being able to stroll along it, it would stop raining but strangely at the end of the day it was almost nine in the evening, the sun appeared with less strength but enough to see people at the park jogging, walking their dog, riding bikes, drinking beer on the grass while singing, etc. ..

Among cafes, cinemas and other infrastructures, the highlight for me was the Openluchttheather (open air theater) where we can see concerts, ballets, plays, etc. .. Runs from June to August and is free entry. (Website: http://www.openluchttheater.nl/programma)
We managed to catch this concert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHwE25rD9EM by pianist Ivo Janssen accompanied by four musicians who played Marimbas, I believe it was the first time in my life I saw something like that and for free .
We wanted to have stayed longer (and better weather) to sit on the grass next to a lake, have a picnic or read a book.
