The Intercontinental Prague will be forever in my memory (and my heart) as the first (and I believe the only) hotel where I was housed in a presidential suite. Hitherto I had never been in one and not even next door, I suspect that not even on the same floor.
If I had gone to Prague without being at work I might not have chosen this hotel because it is expensive and because when visiting a city you want to maiximize your time exploring so a bed and washed towels are enough, but this was a different story ... presidential suite was top even if it was because they were overbooked.

The rooms were individual and because they didn't have more available they had joined me over with a colleague. Charmed with life and as a proof that the suite (or apartment) was so big that we were not accustomed is that the two slept in the same room although there were more available. There was no time for the jacuzzi or sauna much less to use the kitchen but to enjoy the view over the city, the beds were comfortable and the benefit of being able to use two bathrooms (we had three in fact) without having to wait for it to be free.
The location was excellent, integrated jewish neighborhood and in one of the most expensive streets of the city (Pariska), it was a five-minute walk from Old Town Square. Another strong point of this hotel is its rooftop terrace where one of the dinners was organized and has a fantastic view of Prague.
The price of a standard room is around € 140 and the most expensive can cost € 340 per night but this suite in particular I do not know how much it cost because they charged us the price of a normal room.

Our guide:
