Na Calle Castelló n.12, entre a Velázquez e o Retiro, encontra-se um de los mejores Breakfast & Brunch de Madrid - o Fonty.
Ao passar pela rua a montra convida a entrar, quer pelo delicioso aspecto da pastelaria quer pela decoração delicada e simples. Além de simpático, no Fonty é permitida a entrada de animais de estimação de pequeno porte - relembra as pastelarias de bairro pelo interior de Portugal, com um toque moderno. Além de simples, o espaço é acolhedor e descontraído - indicado para as famílias com niños.On Calle Castelló n.12, between Velázquez and Retiro, is one of best Breakfast & Brunch of Madrid - the Fonty.
When passing by the street the storefront invites to enter either for it's the delicious looking pastry or by gentle and simple decor. In addition to friendly, in Fonty is the entrance of small pets is allowed - it reminds me of the neighborhood pastries of the interior of Portugal, but with a modern twist. Besides being simple, the space is cozy and relaxed - suitable for families with "niños".
Apesar de não existir menu de Brunch, as escolhas são variadas, desde saladas, sandwiches, quiches, tartes, petit fours… Da ementa foram seleccionadas e aprovadas as sandwiches :
-Toscano (pan de baguette con pechuga de pollo, tomates secos, queso provolone, rúcula y salsa pesto);
- Nordico (pan nórdico con salmón ahumado, crème fraîche con cebollino y canónigos) ;
- Provenzal (pan de baguette con semillas de amapola, queso de cabra fresco con hierbas y verduras asadas (pimiento rojo, berenjena, calabacín y cebolla roja)
… e as Tartaleta de Limón… deliciosas - acabadinhas de fazer as tartaletas eram cremosas e fofinhas como as núvens.
Although there isn't a Brunch menu, the choices are varied, ranging from salads, sandwiches, quiches, tarts, petit fours ... From the menú we selected and approved these sandwiches:
-Toscano (bread baguette with chicken breast, dried tomatoes, provolone cheese, pesto sauce and arugula);
- Nordic (Nordic bread with smoked salmon, crème fraîche and chives with canons);
- Provenzal (bread with seeds of poppy baguette, goat cheese and fresh herbs roasted vegetables (red red pepper, eggplant, zucchini and onion)
Tartaleta ... and Limón ... delicious - fresh out of the oven the tarts were creamy and fluffy as the clouds.

Uma manhã de domingo em boa companhia: M., P., os pequenos F. e J., e a M. (cujos skills de baby-siter desconhecia). Sem dúvida um dos melhores brunchs da capital e uma pastelaria a re-visitar em mais ocasiões!
One Sunday morning in good company: M., P., small F. and J. and M. (whose skills has a baby-sitter were unknown). Undoubtedly one of the best brunches in the capital and a pastry to re-visit on more occasions!
