No segundo dia em Marrakech, fizémos uma prova de equipa pelos Souks e terminámos aqui no Del Café do hotel The Pearl onde fomos almoçar. Tinha o luxuoso e confortável salão mas ficámos na esplanada porque estava um dia excelente.
Com uma carta internacional é uma excelente opção para comer outro tipo de pratos se necessitamos de uma escapada da cozinha típica marroquina e da sua combinação de especiarias. A ementa estava composta por uma entrada, um primeiro e segundo prato terminando com a sobremesa.
On the second day in Marrakech, we made a team activity around the Souks and ended here at Del Café in The Pearl Hotel where we had lunch. Had the luxury and confortable dinning room but we were on the terrace because it was a great day.

A entrada era um carpaccio de salmão e para a mesa veio o cesto de pão que estava óptimo. Seguiu-se um mil folhas de tomate e queijo mozzarela e o prato principal foi um "stroganoff" de vaca (ao qual lhe deram um nome mais pomposo). A comida estava óptima todos os pratos sem excepção e quando veio a sobremesa já pouco espaço sobrava.
Ao espreitar a sala vi uma montra de doces ao estilo "patisserie" francesa com tartes merengadas e deliciosos bolos de chocolate.
The entrance was a salmon carpaccio and to the table came a bread basket which was great. Then followed a "mille-feuille" of tomato and mozzarella cheese and the main course was a beef "stroganoff" (which they gavea fancier name). The food was excellent all the dishes without exception and when it came to dessert there was little room left.
I peeked into the room I saw a showcase of sweets in a French style "patisserie" merengue tarts and delicious chocolate cakes.
