Assim que entras, do lado direito está uma parede com uma fotografia das esculturas de ferro de Eduardo Chillida, o Peine del Viento. Elas são um dos símbolos de San Sebastián o que quer dizer que quando entras no Txirimiri será para comer pinchos e tapas como se estivesses nessa cidade do norte de Espanha.
As soon as you get in, on your right side there's a wall with a picture of the iron sculputures of Eduardo Chillida, the "Peine del Viento". They are one of the symbols of San Sebastián which means that when you get into Txirimiri is to eat the pinchos and tapas like you were in that city of the north of Spain.
Podes ficar no balcão e comer um pincho enquanto bebes um copo ou sentar-te e escolher pinchos e tapas da carta ou do quadro que têm na parede onde colocam algumas das recomendações do dia.
Nós começámos por pedir uma salada de queijo de cabra, tomate assado e bacon frito, á qual tenho que admitir que não encontrei o tal bacon de forma alguma, mas estava óptima.

Depois pedimos Bacalhau em Tempura que vinha numa cama de pisto (pimentos, tomate e cebola fritos), o bacalhau não era salgado e extremamente suave. Também foi uma boa escolha.
Pedimos depois o pincho de "solomillo" com cebola caramelizada e pimentos, a carne estava óptima e bastante saborosa.

Por último ainda tivémos espaço para sobremesas, neste caso recomendadas pelo o empregado, uma era um brownie com gelado e a outra uma tarte de nata com massa folhada e doce de leite. São boas, mas não são espectaculares. Creio que vais mais ao Txirimiri pelos pinchos e tapas que própriamente pelas sobremesas.
No final pagámos 50€ por duas pessoas, um saldo pesado para quem quer "petiscar" mas quem acha que comer assim em San Sebastián é barato está enganado e muito menos em Madrid. Seria barato se tivéssemos ficado ao balcão a comer pinchos dos mais pequenos mas não teríamos saído tão satisfeitos.
O espaço é agradável e acolhedor, dizem que costuma encher mas nós fomos á hora do almoço antes da confusão (que começa ás 15h) e o atendimento foi simpático.
Têm restaurantes noutras zonas de Madrid e é sem dúvida um lugar a repetir.

They were great, but not amazing. I think that you go to Txirimiri for it's pinchos and tapas not for it's desserts.
