O Grajos foi o primeiro restaurante ao qual batemos á porta no dia que chegámos ao Formigal, famintos e que nos fez ir ao Soul Café porque a cozinha só abria ás 20h30. É uma das coisas que gosto de umas férias na neve é o ambiente informal de muitos dos seus restaurantes, afinal vais para petiscar e conversar sobre os grandes feitos na pista, o Grajos encaixa nesse perfil descontraído, mas sem descuidar da qualidade da sua comida.
Grajos was the first restaurant we went on the day that we arrived at Formigal, hungry, and that made us go to Soul Café because the kitchen only opened at 20.30. It's one of the things I like in a snow vacation the informal setting of many of its restaurants, you go to snack and talk about the great deeds you did on the track, the Grajos fit into that relaxed profile, but without neglecting the quality of its food.
Foi o melhor entrecote que comemos no Formigal e que vontade tinha de comer um bom pedaço de carne, felizmente o Grajos não me decepcionou. Carne tenra e saborosa, se tivesse que apontar algo seria os acompanhamentos...poderiam adicionar algo mais que as batatas fritas, talvez uns legumes salteados ou uma salada. Provei a pizza e estava muito boa, devo confessar que a primeira vez que olhei para ela parecia ser das de supermercado mas foi das melhores que comemos na zona.
A sobremesa foi um crepe recheado com leite condensado que estava delicioso, acredito que seja difícil fazer com que estes dois elementos juntos não sejam saborosos.
The "entrecote" was the best we ate in Formigal and I really needed to eat a good piece of meat, fortunately Grajos did not disappoint me. Tender and tasty meat, if I had to point out something ... would that they could have added something more than the fries, maybe a salad or sautéed vegetables. I tasted the pizza it was very good, I must confess that the first time I looked at it seemed to be from the supermarket but it was the best we ate in the area.
The dessert was a stuffed crepe with condensed milk (or fudge) which was delicious, I believe it is difficult to make these two elements together and don't make it tasty.
