El Portalón não é apenas um bom restaurante é o nome de um extraordinário edificio construído no século XV como albergue para cavaleiros que distribuiam correio e mercadores que passavam pela cidade. Estavam de tal maneira preparados que a grande porta de madeira por onde podemos entrar para o restaurante dava acesso a uma cave onde podiam guardar os cavalos e a mercadoria durante a sua estadia. A este tipo de lugar chamavam Casa de Postas.

É incrível como sobreviveu até aos dias de hoje. Decidimos entrar para dar uma espreitadela e o seu interior mantém o aspecto rústico do exterior, por ser restaurante tem várias salas mas não passámos do bar onde podes ter uma boa experiência de comer um pintxo ou tapa e beber uma cerveja no interior de um edificio com seis séculos.
It's amazing how it survived until the present day. We decided to go have a look and the interior retains the rustic look of the exterior, being a restaurant it had several rooms but we dind't went far from the bar where you can have a good experience eating a pintxo or tapa and drink a beer inside a building with six centuries.
